Five years from the maker. Two more from us.

Every blind and curtain we supply is covered by the manufacturer's warranty for five years from the date of purchase, against defects in materials and workmanship. That covers the whole product: the fabric, mechanisms, brackets, chains and chain fittings, bottom bars, tubes, wands, tracks, runners and gliders, end caps and motors. We handle every claim for you; you never need to deal with the manufacturer.

When the five years end, we cover the parts and consumables for a further two years, so to the end of the seventh year from the date of purchase. That means every component except the fabric: mechanisms, brackets, chains and chain fittings, bottom bars, tubes, wands, tracks, runners and gliders, end caps, motors, remotes and chargers. This extended warranty is ours, it is included with every order, and it costs nothing extra.

Every shutter we supply is covered for ten years from the date of purchase, against defects in materials and workmanship: the panels, louvres, frames, hinges and tilt mechanisms.

It belongs to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.

Fabric after the fifth year; damage from misuse, neglect or accident; installation not carried out by us, or not to the instructions provided; ordinary wear and tear, including the gradual fading of fabric in sunlight and the natural decline of rechargeable batteries; extreme weather or environmental exposure; any alteration or modification; cleaning that departs from our care instructions, or with unsuitable products; damage in transit that is not reported on delivery; and the natural character of the materials themselves, such as variation in colour, the grain and knots of timber, or slight movement in natural fibres and timber.

Please inspect everything within seven days of delivery or installation, and tell us straight away if anything is not as it should be.

Use the claim form on this page, or call (02) 9119 2228, with your job reference or proof of purchase, a short description and, if you can, a photograph. Within our Sydney installation area we will arrange to inspect the product in your home. Beyond it, we will send you return instructions; please do not return anything until we have.

Where a claim is accepted we will, at our discretion, repair the product, replace it with one of the same or equivalent quality, or refund the purchase price. Repairs under this warranty are free.

For the first twelve months we cover the cost of return freight or, within our installation area, the visit to your home. After that, freight and visits are charged at our standard rates; the parts and the work under the warranty remain free.

This warranty is given in addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law and other laws, and does not limit them. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
