Complaints and disputes

If something is not right, tell us.

Most problems are solved with one honest conversation. This is how we handle the ones that are not, and where you can go if we cannot agree.

Our process

1. Tell us
Use our enquiry form, choosing “Something else”, with your job reference if you have one, what has happened, and what you would like us to do. Photographs help. You can also call (02) 9119 2228.
2. We acknowledge it
We will acknowledge your complaint within two business days and tell you who is looking after it.
3. We look into it and respond
We will review your job, inspect where that is needed, and give you our response in writing within 10 business days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and when you can expect an answer.
4. If you are not satisfied
Ask for your complaint to be reviewed by the owner of the business, who will look at it afresh and respond in writing.
5. Outside help
If we still cannot agree, you can contact NSW Fair Trading, which offers a free complaint service, at fairtrading.nsw.gov.au or on 13 32 20. You may also apply to the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) for a decision on a consumer claim, at ncat.nsw.gov.au. If you live outside New South Wales, the consumer protection agency in your state or territory can help.
Privacy complaints
Complaints about how we handle personal information follow the same process. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Your rights
Making a complaint does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or our warranty.

We would rather hear it.

A problem we know about is one we can fix. Write to us, and we will get onto it.
