The questions we actually get asked.

How quickly do I get a price?
Straight away. Tell the builder your rooms, pick the level and the fabric, give it rough sizes, and your estimate is on the screen the moment you tell us where to send it. No showroom, no waiting days for a callback, no salesperson on the couch. Try it now; it takes about two minutes.
What does the consultation cost?
Close to our workroom, nothing: in some areas near us the consultation is on us. Everywhere else in Sydney we still come to you, and a consultation fee books the visit, between $100 and $250 depending on your postcode. Every dollar of it comes off your order when you go ahead. Put your postcode into the builder and it tells you which applies to you. No obligation either way.
What if I am not in Sydney?
Then we post it to you, anywhere in Australia. You measure, we make it to your numbers, and the builder walks you through every question with a little guide beside each one.
Is the price on the website the real price?
For blinds, yes. The builder works out your price on the spot, on the sizes you give it, and your quote, at that same figure, will be with you shortly. If we are coming to measure, it firms up once every window has been measured. Curtains and shutters skip the builder price and go straight to a written quote, in your inbox within 24 hours.
Is it made in Australia?
Yes. Every blind, curtain and shutter is made to measure in Australia, for your windows and nobody else's.
What is the warranty?
Seven years on the parts. Blinds and curtains come with the manufacturer's five-year warranty on everything, fabric included, and then we add two more years of our own on every part except the fabric: mechanisms, chains, brackets, bars and motors. Free, with every order. Shutters get ten years. The fine print is on our warranty page, and it is short.
Can I see the fabric first?
Please do. No screen is honest about fabric, so we bring the real swatches to your measure and you hold them against your own wall, in your own light. If we are posting it to you, email us before you order.
What if I get the size wrong on the website?
If we are coming to measure, it does not matter at all. Your sizes only shape the estimate, and nothing is ordered off them. If we are posting it to you, we make it to your numbers, so the builder shows you exactly how to measure.
Will someone try to sell me on the day?
No. We measure, we answer questions if you have them, and we leave. The quote arrives by email afterwards so you can read it without anyone watching you read it.
How long does it take?
Most orders are made and fitted within two to four weeks of you approving the quote. We tell you the date before you commit, not after.
Can I change my mind?
Yes, for 24 hours after you pay, no questions asked. After that we start cutting your fabric, and because it is made for your windows only, we cannot take it back for a change of mind. Anything faulty, we fix. The detail is in our refunds policy.
Do you fit what you supply?
Always, anywhere in Sydney. We do not hand your job to a subcontractor.
What about the cords and my kids?
Every corded blind comes with a wall fixed tensioner to the Australian standard. Spring assisted and motorised blinds have no cord at all, and we will happily talk you through which suits your rooms.
Do you do outdoor blinds?
We do: track-guided outdoor blinds that zip into side channels, so the wind and the insects stay out and the alfresco stays usable. They are quoted after we have seen the space, so tick through our two-minute outdoor enquiry or call us on (02) 9119 2228, and we will come back to you.
Do you fix blinds, curtains and shutters?
Yes, ours and anyone else's: snapped chains, tired springs, sticky mechanisms, bottom bars, brackets, curtain tracks and runners, shutter hinges and louvres, and a proper clean and service. If we supplied it and it is under warranty, the repair is free. Otherwise send us what is wrong and a photo or two, and we will quote it. Ask for a repair.
Do you do rentals and apartments?
Yes. If you need something that comes down cleanly at the end of a lease, say so in your build and we will quote it that way.
Where it goes wrong

The things that go wrong, and how we stop them.

Bottom bars that bang against the glass.

Every roller we make gets a properly weighted bottom bar as standard. It is not an upgrade and it is not an extra line on your quote.

Measurements that are out by a centimetre.

The person who measures your windows is the person who installs them. There is nobody to blame in between.

A chain hanging where a toddler can reach it.

Every corded blind ships with a tensioner fixed to the wall, to the Australian standard. If you have small kids, we will steer you to spring or motorised and tell you why.

A quote that grows.

Supply, make, delivery and installation are one number. If your windows need something unusual, like a scaffold over a two storey void, we tell you before we start, not after.
